Coronation Street star Vicky Myers has thanked fans after receiving two nominations at the Inside Soap Awards 2026. The actress, known for playing DS Lisa Connor-Swain, was nominated for Best Actress and Best Partnership alongside Alison King, who plays Carla Connor.

Myers first appeared on the ITV soap in 2021 as the detective sergeant leading the investigation into the assaults on Nina Lucas and Seb Franklin, which resulted in Franklin's death. Since then, she has handled numerous high-profile cases on the cobbles, including Daisy Midgeley's acid attack and serial killer Stephen Reid's demise.
In early 2024, Myers was promoted to a regular cast member, allowing viewers to see more of her character's personal life. Lisa's relationship with Carla Connor has been a central storyline, culminating in the couple making Corrie history as the first two women to marry on the street.

Busy Year for Lisa and Carla
The past year has been eventful for both characters. Lisa's ex-wife Becky Swain reappeared in Weatherfield years after being presumed dead, causing chaos. Despite this, Lisa and Carla's relationship survived, culminating in their historic wedding.
The Inside Soap Awards 2026 will celebrate the best in soap opera, with voting opening later this year.
