Bruno Fernandes Named PFA Players' Player of the Year

Bruno Fernandes has been named the Men's PFA Players' Player of the Year at the PFA Awards Ceremony held at The Opera House in Quay Street. The Manchester United captain, 31, secured the honour ahead of David Raya, Declan Rice, Erling Haaland, Gabriel Magalhaes and Rayan Cherki.

United Captain Adds to Trophy Haul

Fernandes' latest accolade adds to an already impressive collection this season. He previously won the Football Writers' Association's (FWA) Footballer of the Year and the Premier League Player of the Season awards. He also claimed the Premier League Playmaker of the Season, having assisted a record-breaking 21 goals – one more than Thierry Henry managed in the 2002/03 season.

The midfielder also scored nine goals during the campaign. His performances helped United finish third in the Premier League table, their highest position in three years since Erik ten Hag's first season in charge.
