FIFA has confirmed punishments for several Argentina players following their behaviour in the World Cup final and the display of a Falkland Islands banner after beating England.
Player bans and fine
Leandro Paredes has been handed a 10-game ban, while Nahuel Molina will be suspended for the next seven matches. A fine of approximately €250,000 (£214,000) has also been imposed for displaying a political banner referencing the Falkland Islands.
The sanctions follow the controversial scenes after Argentina's victory over England in the World Cup final.
