Pixie Lott has shared a relatable parenting confession after welcoming her second son. The singer and actress, who married Oliver Cheshire in 2022, is now a proud mother to two-year-old Bert and a seven-month-old baby boy. Speaking exclusively to the Daily Express, Pixie admitted that no two days are the same when it comes to raising her little ones.
Going with the Flow
Pixie explained that her family doesn't follow a strict schedule, especially with nap times and bedtime. "We're kind of going with the flow, which works out best for us," she said. The star emphasized the importance of flexibility, as her own schedule changes frequently. "I want them to be with me all the time. I think it's good to have that leniency."
Festival Season with Two Boys
As Pixie prepares to perform at Ben & Jerry's Sundaes in the Park Festival, she plans to bring her sons along for the entire festival season. "I would love for them to come to all the shows," she noted. "Bert did last year. This will be my first festival season having two of them on the road, which I'm sure will come with lots of fun and games."
The singer feels completely at ease on stage, describing live performances as what she lives for. "I don't tend to get nervous about that kind of thing," she added. However, she admits to feeling nervous when stepping outside her comfort zone, which she considers important in the entertainment industry.
Balancing Acting and Motherhood
Pixie recently appeared in the psychological thriller Past Life, and she revealed that she was pregnant during filming. "I was actually pregnant at the time of filming, but nobody knew. So I had a bump on, with a real bump underneath," she confessed. Her mother and eldest son Bert accompanied her to the set in Manchester. "It was actually my first trimester, so I was getting morning sickness!"
Pixie Lott will headline Ben & Jerry's Sundaes in the Park Festival on Saturday, 13th June at Chiswick House & Gardens in London. The event features live music, entertainment, and unlimited ice cream, with proceeds supporting refugees and people seeking asylum.
