Disney On Ice Returns to Manchester with New Christmas Show Dates

Disney On Ice is returning to Great Britain this winter with a brand new production. Starting this year, Disney On Ice presents Discover The Magic will arrive at ice rinks throughout October, November, December and January.

Throughout this journey, the spectacular will visit Birmingham, Newcastle, Nottingham, Sheffield, London and additional venues. Featured in this spectacular production will be world-class skating performances, aerial displays, and a host of beloved Disney tales brought to life through stunning choreography.

Characters and Stories

Disney enthusiasts attending Discover The Magic will experience the tales of numerous major characters unfolding, including Moana, Coco, Captain Hook, Tinker Bell, Miguel, Ana and Elsa, Woody and Jessie and many others. This naturally includes sequences from major franchises such as Frozen, Encanto, Toy Story and beyond. All of these entries will be packed with music, movement and larger-than-life production. Additionally, there will be some mischievous surprises from the intergalactic trickster Stitch.

Production Details

Disney On Ice presents Discover The Magic will be created by more than 100 talented artisans with over 173 spectacular costumes. With thousands of yards of fabric, each live character will be decorated with hundreds of thousands of hand-set Swarovski crystals. The production boasts multiple sets weighing over 12,000 pounds, including a striking 1,000-pound staircase designed to resemble stilettos.
