Barry, 33, portrays Ringo Starr in The Beatles - A Four-Film Cinematic Event directed by Sir Sam Mendes. He joins Paul Mescal as Sir Paul McCartney, Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison. The four films, told from each band member's perspective, are set for release in 2028.

Bobby, known for his role as Peter "Bonehead" Murphy in BBC series This City is Ours, plays band manager Neil Aspinall in the upcoming films. His father is Liverpool stage actor Andrew Schofield.

He has been spotted on Lark Lane numerous times and on Bold Street with his co-stars. Barry also revealed he was emotional when he came across the Beatles statue on the waterfront during a run, saying: "I was going on a jog in Liverpool the other day and I came across the statue of the four lads along the docks. So I'm very emotional about it and wanting to do them well and justice."
