The series chronicles the chilling real-life crimes of American serial killer John Wayne Gacy, who murdered 33 young men and boys during the 1970s. Dubbed the 'Killer Clown' due to his habit of dressing as one while volunteering at community events, Gacy preyed upon his victims, sexually assaulting many before taking their lives.
