Coronation Street could be welcoming back a soap favorite as fans have ‘worked out’ who keeps calling Christina Boyd.
Christina (Amy Robbins) joined the ITV soap in 2023 as the mother of Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan). Since then, Christina has become a regular and has been involved in several big storylines, from her devious catfishing scheme to finding love with undertaker George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley).
Recently, Christina has been acting suspiciously, distracted by call attempts and messages. She initially asked someone to help her sort a situation, saying she was desperate. Later, a flurry of messages came in, and she was clearly worried. After replying, Christina kept checking her phone before stepping aside to take a call.
Now, fans reckon they have ‘rumbled’ who is trying to get in touch with Christina. On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, viewers suspect it could be daughter Daisy. “I wonder who Christina was talking to on her phone?” they wrote. Someone else added: “Her daughter is my guess.” A third chimed in: “Daisy.” Another penned: “I’d love it to be Daisy.”
Fans will recall Daisy made her Corrie debut in 2020 and played a part in several big storylines, including a harrowing acid attack storyline and shock affairs. In January 2025, actress Charlotte announced she had quit the soap, and in May, Daisy said her goodbyes to the cobbles in explosive fashion. Sharing a video after her last episode aired, Charlotte posted a sweet message for all of her friends and followers, saying: "Hello - I wanted to pop on and say thank you for all of the love you've shown Daisy over the last four and a half years."
