Netflix has quietly added the British crime drama Prey to its UK library, and the series is already climbing the platform's most-watched charts. The ITV original first aired in 2014, with a second series following in 2015. Each series consists of three 45-minute episodes, placing it firmly in miniseries territory.
The show earned a BAFTA Television Award nomination in the 'Mini Series' category in 2015. It holds a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics praising its gripping story and strong performances. One review called it 'a near perfect blend of well-crafted characterizations within the context of a credibly gripping murder case.'
Rosie Cavaliero stars as DS Susan Reinhart, the only principal character to appear in both series. John Simm headlines series one as DC Marcus Farrow, a man on the run after being accused of murdering his wife and son.
