Rochelle Humes has shared that her 12-year-old daughter, Alaia-May, is being bullied at school. The This Morning presenter, 36, opened up about the family struggle during her Ladies Who Launch podcast.
Describing the situation as “an awful thing,” Humes said she wishes she could shield her daughter from the difficulties of secondary school. She noted how the dynamics among girls have changed as her eldest child enters her second year of secondary education.
The TV star admitted that watching her daughter go through this is difficult and has brought out a protective instinct. “It brings out this lioness in you,” she said.
Humes, who is married to JLS singer Marvin Humes, also has two other children: daughter Valentina, eight, and son Blake, four. She acknowledged that knowing how to parent through such challenges is hard.
