Noel and Sue Radford, Britain's most famous super-sized family, have found themselves at the centre of an education controversy after being fined for taking their children out of school during term time.
The parents of 22 children, who star in the Channel 5 documentary '22 Kids and Counting', confirmed they received penalty notices from Lancashire County Council for an unauthorised family holiday.
Defending Their Decision
Speaking out about the situation, Sue Radford explained their reasoning: "We took the kids out of school for a holiday because it's significantly cheaper and less crowded during term time. With a family of our size, the cost difference is substantial."
The family, who don't rely on benefits and support themselves through their bakery business, emphasised they carefully consider their children's education. "We always make sure the kids catch up on any work they've missed," Sue added.
