Radfords Fined For Term Time Family Holiday

The Radford family, stars of Channel 5's '22 Kids and Counting', have been fined for taking their children on holiday during term time. The family, from Morecambe, recently returned from a trip to Walt Disney World in Florida, despite having previously stated they were 'feeling the pinch' financially.

The holiday comes just months after the family spent an estimated £50,000 on a trip to Florida in April for Sue Radford's 50th birthday. That trip included all 22 children and several grandchildren, with flights alone costing around £26,000. The family also visited Disney during the summer half-term break.

Sue and Noel Radford, who run Radford's Pie Company, have been open about their financial struggles amid the cost of living crisis. They told The Mirror they had scaled back Christmas spending by half and switched to shopping at Aldi to reduce their £450 weekly food bill.

The fine for taking children out of school during term time is typically £60 per parent per child, which could amount to over £2,500 for the Radfords. The family have not commented on whether they will pay the penalty.
