The tragic incident occurred on Friday afternoon as the group of British students were travelling through upstate New York. According to state police, the coach carrying 43 people veered off Interstate 84 in the town of Orange County, approximately 70 miles north of New York City.
Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of a serious collision. The coach, which had been transporting students and staff from the Sutton-based school, ended up in a ditch after the driver lost control.
