Nostradamus Quatrains 'Point to Iran War Escalation and Wider Conflict'

A YouTuber claims that the 16th-century mystic Nostradamus predicted the current Iran conflict and warns of further escalation. Donovan Dread, in a video analysing the French astrologer's quatrains, argues that several passages reference Iran and suggest a broader global war.

Dread highlights a verse mentioning 'Hercania' and 'Carmania'—ancient regions corresponding to northern and southern Iran. He interprets the line 'A fleet chief will set out from Carmania' as a military response from the area controlling the Strait of Hormuz, through which 20% of the world's oil flows daily.

Another quatrain states: 'In 1727, in October, the king of Persia shall be captured by those of Egypt.' Dread notes that while the date may be symbolic, the capture of a Persian ruler aligns with the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in the war's early days.

The final line 'Persia turns to invade Macedonia' is interpreted by Dread as a reference to south-eastern Europe or the Balkans, suggesting the conflict could extend into Europe and draw in NATO allies. He also points to a quatrain describing 'a burning torch in the sky at night', which he likens to modern missile warfare.
