Tommy Robinson's Detention Under Counter-Terrorism Laws
Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was detained at Heathrow under counter-terrorism laws after returning from Russia. One reader, Nathan Hazlett from Sunderland, argued that Robinson went to a dictatorship and a known hostile state, met with Putin supporter Errol Musk, and stirred up tensions. He noted that given Russia's espionage and disinformation campaigns, Robinson's actions were almost treacherous. Hazlett concluded that Robinson was lucky to be held for only a few hours.

Mike Baldwin from via email highlighted the hypocrisy of Tory shadow chancellor Mel Stride, who wrote about challenges farmers face due to extreme weather. Corruption in Fifa and Politics
Charlie from Stoke criticised Fifa's president Gianni Infantino for giving Donald Trump a Peace Prize, which was followed by the dismissal of a bribery investigation and Fifa renting office space in Trump Tower. He also pointed out corruption in UK politics, noting Nigel Farage's praise of JCB after its owner donated to Reform, and the party's ties to offshore crypto billionaires and tax avoidance.
