A young woman has been raped in Nottingham city centre, prompting a police investigation. The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, June 13, in the Lace Market Square area. Police have cordoned off the square and Adams Walk, which leads to Fletcher Gate.

Nottinghamshire Police received a call at 2:46 am reporting the rape. Officers are supporting the victim, and investigations are ongoing. A police spokesperson stated: "We were called at 2.46am on Saturday to the Adams Walk area of Nottingham city centre after reports that a young woman had been raped. She is being supported by officers and investigations are ongoing."
