Greater Manchester Police have reported that a 22-year-old woman is in a life-threatening condition following a collision in Fallowfield. The incident occurred on Moseley Road at approximately 11:30pm on Saturday, 27 June 2026.
Arrests Made
Three individuals—two men and a woman—have been arrested in connection with the crash. They remain in custody for questioning. All three were arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. One of the men was additionally arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by disqualified driving.
According to GMP, a man and a woman were arrested at the scene shortly after the collision. A second man was arrested the following morning.
Victim's Condition
The pedestrian, a 22-year-old woman, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police have described her condition as 'life-threatening' and she remains in critical care.
Police Appeal
GMP's Serious Collisions Investigation Unit is appealing for information. They are particularly interested in dashcam or CCTV footage from the area around the time of the incident. In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: 'Emergency services attended and a woman, aged 22, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. A man and a woman were arrested at the scene... All three individuals remain in custody for questioning as enquiries continue.'
