Footage of a violent brawl that broke out at Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland on Sunday has gone viral, showing two men arguing with stallholders in front of shocked children. The incident occurred at a crispy chicken stall, where one worker appeared to wave a pole at a customer before a fight ensued.
In the clip, a woman can be heard shouting, 'There are children... there are children everywhere,' as young children walk directly in front of the brawling men. Security guards arrived and managed to calm the situation, ushering the individuals away from the stall while the song 'It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year' played ironically in the background.
Social media users have suggested the argument was over food prices, with one commenting, 'I mean I know the prices are ridiculous there, but you're under no obligation to purchase.' Winter Wonderland has faced criticism for its high costs, with a pint costing upwards of £6 and fish and chips at £14 per person.
A similar incident occurred at the same venue in December 2019, where three people were arrested for public order offences. The video has been viewed nearly 90,000 times on social media.
