Two Seriously Injured in Wrexham Car-Van Crash

Two people were taken to hospital with serious injuries after a car and van collided on Heritage Way in Wrexham, causing one vehicle to burst into flames. The crash occurred near the A525 at approximately 4:20pm on Wednesday, July 1, involving a black Mercedes A180 and a white Ford Transit Connect.

Emergency Response and Injuries

Emergency services, including an air ambulance, attended the scene in New Broughton, Wrexham. The two injured individuals were transported to a hospital in Stoke for treatment of serious injuries.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

North Wales Police is appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage who was traveling along Heritage Way at the time of the collision. Sergeant Emma Birrell of the roads crime unit stated: "We are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or who was travelling along Heritage Way at the time and may have dashcam footage, to contact us."
