An 18-year-old girl is fighting for her life after the car she was a passenger in was involved in a serious crash on the M80 motorway. The incident occurred on the northbound carriageway between junctions three and four, near Moodiesburn, at approximately 7pm on Sunday, 28 June.

Emergency services rushed the 18-year-old to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
