A South Wales Police spokesperson stated: "South Wales Police was called at 3:15pm yesterday to Afon Taff High School, Merthyr, to reports of a disturbance. A 16-year-old boy from Caerphilly was arrested on suspicion of affray and threatening a person with a blade/pointed article in a public place. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries."
