Queens Drive is closed in both directions this morning (Tuesday, June 23) after a crash left a car on its side. The incident occurred at the junction of Queens Drive and Walton Hall Avenue shortly before 10am, when a wagon collided with a car.
Man Trapped in Vehicle
A man was trapped inside the car after the collision. Firefighters were called to the scene and successfully released the man from the vehicle. He was then taken to hospital for treatment. The wagon remains blocking one side of Queens Drive.

Merseyside Police have confirmed that officers have closed Queens Drive in both directions. The extent of any injuries caused to those involved in the incident is currently unknown. Traffic monitoring service Inrix reports slow traffic in the area.
