Northumbria Police have released an image of a man they want to trace after a woman was reportedly raped in her own home. The victim, a woman in her late teens, had spent the evening in Newcastle city centre before the alleged attack.

The woman told police she was raped at her address by a man she had met earlier in the night. The alleged offence occurred on Thursday, February 5. Officers have been conducting enquiries, including a review of CCTV footage, and have identified a man they believe may have information that could assist the investigation.
