Lancashire Police are hunting two men after a woman was allegedly subjected to racial abuse, threats of violence, and was pushed down a set of stairs on Blackpool's South Pier Promenade. The incident occurred on Friday, May 29, at approximately 6:11pm, and authorities have now released images of the suspects in a bid to progress the investigation.
Incident Details and Police Appeal
According to a statement issued by Lancashire Police on June 22, the force has been making enquiries since the incident was reported. In an appeal to the public, a police spokesperson said: 'Do you recognise these men? We want to speak to them in connection with our investigation into racist abuse and an assault.' The spokesperson added: 'At 6:11pm on Friday 29th May we were called to reports of racist abuse and assault on South Pier Promenade, Blackpool. It was reported that two men racially abused a woman, made threats of violence, and pushed her down the stairs at the beach.'

Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage that could assist, to come forward. The police can be contacted by calling 101 and quoting log 1207 of 29th May. The force emphasized that while they have been conducting enquiries since the report, they are now in a position to ask for the public's help to identify the two men.
