Residents have been evacuated from a residential property in Nottingham city centre as firefighters tackle a huge blaze on Market Street. Several roads in the area have been closed while emergency services respond to the incident.
Evacuations and road closures
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service are currently fighting the flames at the property. Residents have been moved out of the building, and a number of roads in the city centre have been shut to traffic.
Official advice to the public
A spokesperson for the service said: "Please avoid the area, and if local residents are affected by smoke, keep doors and windows closed."
This is a developing story, and further updates will follow as more information becomes available.
