Mum, 24, killed in Fife crash 'never be forgotten'

A young mother who died in a three-vehicle crash in Fife is being remembered as an "angel" by her family and friends. Aisha Kempson, 24, has been named locally as the woman who died in the collision on the A92 near the Luthrie Junction.

The crash involved a white Audi A3, a grey Volvo V40 and a white Honda HRV at around 1am on Sunday. Kempson, who was a passenger in the Audi, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 27-year-old man who was driving the Audi was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, where his condition is unknown.

No other people were injured in the crash, which is now being investigated by police.

Tributes to a 'beautiful girl'

Heartfelt tributes have been paid to Kempson, who is remembered as a "beautiful girl" by devastated family and friends. Her sister Gray Allan wrote: "I'll miss you forever. Rest in paradise my angel. You were the best big sister to me. I'll never forget you. Please watch over me... I love you."

Kempson's stepmum Becky Lee Young said: "Aw sweetheart. We're not ready for this. It's not real. You weren’t just my stepdaughter, you were my beautiful stepdaughter who gave us two gorgeous grandchildren who will keep you with us. I hope you are looking down and can see how much you were loved. I'm not ready to say goodbye yet."

Road closed for investigation

Leanne Maxwell said: "RIP you beautiful girl. May the angels take care of you now. Thinking of your mum and the kids at this time." Lia Cropper added: "Rest easy my angel. I still feel like this is a dream. Your babies love you and will never forget you."

The road was closed for nearly 24 hours while crash investigation work was carried out. It reopened earlier today.
