An 'armed and dangerous' Ukrainian woman in her 30s has been identified as the prime suspect in an explosion at Monaco's Sun's Palace that critically injured Ukrainian oligarch Vladim Yermolaiev, a woman, and a teenage boy. Interpol is preparing to issue a Most Wanted red notice for the suspect after an arrest warrant was released.

Suspect Identified by Witness

The woman, not yet publicly named, was captured on CCTV outside the Sun's Palace, a luxury apartment complex owned by Yermolaiev. According to an investigating source, 'The prime suspect was identified by a witness. She is a Ukrainian woman in her thirties. She is armed and dangerous, and thought to be in the company of accomplices. She should be approached with extreme caution.'

Explosion Details

The explosion occurred just before 9pm in the entrance hall, caused by a rucksack the suspect is believed to have abandoned. She was approximately 12 metres away when she activated the device. CCTV footage shows her wearing a black bucket hat and long sleeves, escaping on foot across the border to France, where there are no checkpoints.
