Police have confirmed that a man's body was found in a parked car in Port Talbot. Officers responded to a report of concern for a man on Afan Street in the Velindre area on Sunday, June 14.
The body of a 37-year-old man from Caerau, Maesteg, was discovered inside the vehicle. His next of kin has been informed, and police have stated that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A South Wales Police spokesman said: "Officers attended Afan Street, Velindre, Neath Port Talbot at around 4.40pm on Sunday, June 14 following a report of concern for a man. The body of a 37-year-old man from Caerau, Maesteg was found within a parked car. There are no suspicious circumstances. Next of kin has been informed."
