Merseyside Police have launched an investigation after a man in his 30s was found dead on a residential street in Kirkby, Liverpool. The discovery was made on Kersey Road at approximately 12:50 PM today, with authorities currently treating the death as unexplained.
Details of the Incident
Emergency services were called to the scene on Kersey Road following reports of a body in the road. Upon arrival, they confirmed the death of a man, whose identity has not yet been released. Officers have cordoned off the area as they conduct inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson stated, "We are investigating the unexplained death of a man in his 30s who was found on Kersey Road in Kirkby. Our officers are at the scene and are working to establish the full circumstances. The death is currently being treated as unexplained."
Residents in the area have reported a heavy police presence, with several patrol cars and forensic teams visible. The road remains closed to traffic while investigations continue.
