A volunteer crew member for RNLI Aberdyfi, which attended the scene, described it as an "uncommon call out." The crew member added that the man had given himself a deep wound.

Emergency Response

Wales Air Ambulance, Welsh Ambulance Service, and community first responders also attended the scene. The man was subsequently airlifted to hospital for treatment.
