Greater Manchester Police have released CCTV images of three men they believe can assist enquiries following a serious assault at a bar in Wigan. The victim, a 28-year-old man, was attacked by a group inside the Lounge Bar on Castle Street in Tyldesley.
Attack Occurred in Early Hours
The incident took place at around 2.30am on Sunday, June 7. According to police, three men began attacking the victim inside the premises, which is located on the corner with Shuttle Street. The victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital. However, GMP confirmed that the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Police Appeal for Public's Help
In a statement, GMP Wigan and Leigh said: "Officers are appealing for information following a serious assault that took place inside a premises on Castle Street, Tyldesley. The incident occurred at around 2.30am on Sunday 7 June, which is believed to have involved three men attacking another. The man, aged 28 suffered serious injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening or changing. As officers continue their investigation, they are appealing for the public’s help to identify three men pictured, as it is believed they could assist with ongoing enquiries."
