Natasha Keryk, 36, was found dead at her home in Darwen on October 7 2024, an inquest has heard.
An inquest held at Blackburn Town Hall on Wednesday (September 23) heard that Keryk worked as a secretary at the time of her death. She was found in the bath with a sponge covering the plughole.
Cause of death ruled as drowning
Her cause of death was ruled to be drowning, with acute alcohol intoxication recorded as a contributory factor.
Although Keryk had been experiencing "significant challenging personal issues" at the time of her death and was receiving support, it was not possible to determine her intentions, the coroner ruled.
Coroner returns narrative conclusion
Area Coroner Emma Mather returned a narrative conclusion.
"Natasha was found submerged in the bath where a sponge was covering the plug and she died from drowning," the coroner said. "At the time of her death she was acutely intoxicated. Natasha was experiencing significant challenging personal issues at the time of her death and was being supported by professionals. Her intentions cannot be determined."
