Edinburgh Street 'Covered in Blood' After Crossbow Attack

Six police cars were spotted in the Clermiston area of Edinburgh in the early hours of Thursday morning after a man was reportedly attacked with a crossbow. Witnesses described seeing "blood all over the street" as police taped off sections of Durar Drive and Ardshiel Avenue.

Evidence and Witness Accounts

An arrow from a crossbow was marked with a police evidence number inside the cordoned-off area. A broken bottle, a backpack, and a watch were also reportedly strewn around the street, according to the Sun. Officers were patrolling the area on June 25, with multiple officers visible on the street.

One local, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "I heard a guy got battered with a metal pole. There's blood all over the street." They added: "Six police cars are at the street, and it's all taped off. It's a bit worrying to see something like this first thing in the morning, to say the least."
