Eamonn Holmes' girlfriend, Katie Alexander, has reportedly moved her belongings out of his flat, with a source describing the situation as "incredibly sad."

The couple remain together and in love, according to the source, who said Katie had been Eamonn's "rock and lifeline" since he fell ill. She is said to be willing him to regain full fitness so they can get their lives back on track.

Move out of Surrey flat

Katie reportedly moved her things out on Friday. She primarily resides in West Yorkshire and had been splitting her time between her home and Eamonn's flat.

The TV presenter had been living in a rented flat in Surrey after splitting from his wife, Ruth Langsford, in 2024. However, according to The Sun on Sunday, he has yet to return to the £1.3million property since being admitted to hospital in the spring.

Recovery from stroke

Eamonn, who suffered a stroke in April, has spent the past six months recovering and has been forced to take a break from his presenting role on GB News.

In April, his son Declan issued a statement describing the medical emergency as a "real shock." He said his father was "doing okay given the circumstances" and that the family were taking it "one step at a time."

Declan added: "For now, we're focused on him and keeping things steady around him. We'd really value a bit of privacy as we navigate it, and what lies ahead, but thank you again for the support, as it means so much to dad and the rest of the family."

Health challenges

GB News also released a statement, with a spokesperson confirming that Eamonn is "responding well to treatment." The representative said: "His colleagues and everyone at GB News wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming him back to the people's channel when he is ready to return."

Prior to his stroke, the 66-year-old had spoken openly about "horrendous" health issues he has faced in recent years. These include a double hip replacement in 2016, a dislocated pelvis, and three slipped disks, which led to several spinal surgeries. Due to mobility challenges, he had been receiving daily care and using a wheelchair before his hospital admission in April.
