Dad and Pro Boxer Dies After Jet2 Flight Incident

A father and professional bare-knuckle boxer has died after collapsing on a Jet2 flight to Manchester Airport. Callum Kerr, from Warrington, boarded the plane from Larnaca, Cyprus, on June 21 with his girlfriend.

Incident Details

Passengers reported that a man in his 30s became disruptive during the flight, allegedly after drinking heavily before take-off. Police were called to an alleged assault after the man reportedly became aggressive. Officers boarded the plane after it landed at Manchester Airport in the early hours of June 22 and found that fellow passengers had restrained Kerr.

Videos and pictures shared online show the moment police boarded the aircraft. Officers discovered Kerr was not breathing and immediately began CPR, calling for a defibrillator. He was taken to hospital in a critical condition and has since died, family members confirmed.
