Dad, 35, Dies Unexpectedly on Family Holiday in New Forest

A beloved father from Coventry died unexpectedly at the age of 35 while on a family holiday in the New Forest. Craig Mowe, from Longford, was spending time with his wife Jordan and their seven-year-old daughter Grace when he passed away on Thursday, May 28.

Cause of Death Unknown

Family friend Lisa Smallwood stated that the cause of death remains unknown as relatives continue to await post-mortem findings. Craig was employed at Northern Building Plastics in Hinckley and is remembered as a dedicated husband and devoted father.

Those who knew him recalled his generosity and ability to 'bring laughter wherever he went.' Lisa said: 'Everybody loved Craig. He was always so funny and he was just such a family lad. Everyone was always going on day trips with him and he was always away with his daughter and his wife on camping trips.'

Tributes to a Family Man

Lisa continued: 'Craig was the kind of person who brought laughter wherever he went! He was a wonderful son, a brilliant brother, the fun uncle everyone adored, and a loyal friend to so many. Above all else, his greatest joy in life was his family.'

'Nothing could have prepared us for this heartbreak and the pain of losing Craig so suddenly is something our family is still trying to come to terms with. He will be missed every single day, but we know his laughter, kindness, and love for his family will never be forgotten.'

Support for the Family

Lisa said they are now focused on supporting Jordan and Grace in the difficult weeks ahead. She added they are also raising funds towards a send-off for Craig. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help with expenses.

She said: 'We hope to give Jordan the time and space she needs to grieve the loss of her husband and best friend, while helping provide stability and support for Grace as she learns to navigate life without her wonderful daddy.'

'Any funds raised will go towards supporting Jordan and Grace through this incredibly difficult period, helping with everyday expenses and allowing them the opportunity to spend valuable time together as a family without the added burden of financial worry.'

'We would also love for them to have the chance to make some positive memories together through special days out or a short break away when they feel ready.'

'Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. If you are unable to donate, sharing the page would mean just as much and will help us reach as many people as possible.'
