Other incidents

This isn't the first instance of an influencer being shot and killed on livestream in Mexico. Beauty TikToker Valeria Marquez was sadly murdered back in May 2025 at her place of work.

The gut-wrenching news of Cesar's death comes just two days after Bob Marley: One Love actor Ras Ajai was reportedly shot and killed in Jamaica. He played JLP political enforcer Claudie Massop in the 2024 biopic. Another person is reported to have sustained injuries during the assault, which remains under investigation by St Catherine South Police. Sources say Ras was walking down a street with a companion on Saturday 1 August when they were attacked by armed criminals travelling in a vehicle.
