Boy, 3, Found Dead in Car During 44C French Heatwave

A three-year-old boy has died after being found in a hot car during a severe heatwave in France, where temperatures soared to 44°C. The incident occurred in Saint-Gratien, Val-d'Oise, on Wednesday evening, June 24.

Discovery of the Child

The boy's parents discovered him in cardiac arrest in the family vehicle at around 7pm. They had believed he was taking a nap in his room. Emergency services were called, but the child could not be revived.

Similar Tragedies

This tragedy comes just days after two other children, aged two and four, were found dead in a separate part of France under similar circumstances.
