Police are investigating after a man in his 30s was found dead on a street in Liverpool. Officers were called to Kersey Road in Kirkby on Saturday following reports of a death, Merseyside Police confirmed.

Incident Details

Officers received a report from the North West Ambulance Service at around 12:50pm that a man in his 30s had been found dead, according to the Liverpool Echo. A cordon is in place on Kersey Road and parts of Broad Lane. The death is currently being treated as unexplained while inquiries continue.

The focus of emergency services appears to be outside a row of terraced houses on the corner of Kersey Road and Broad Lane. An eyewitness told the ECHO that a friend of theirs had found the man in the street with facial injuries, and alleged the man was not wearing shoes.
