Armed police descended on the Kent village of Headcorn on Sunday evening following reports of a serious assault involving weapons, leading to the arrest of six individuals. Kent Police received a call at 7:36 pm on 28 June 2026 to Lenham Road, where people were reported injured and weapons were being used.

Arrests and Injuries

Three men and three women were arrested in connection with the incident and remain in police custody. Paramedics attended the scene, and three people were transported to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

A Kent Police spokesperson stated: "Six people have been arrested following an investigation into a serious assault in Headcorn. Patrols including armed officers attended, alongside paramedics, and three people were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Three men and three women have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody. Officers remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing."
