Adult Star: Most Male Co-Stars Are Married and Religious

Adult star Holly Jane Johnston has revealed that most men she films explicit content with are married, and their wives are unaware. The 43-year-old mother, who has a long-term partner, says her partner understands her decision is business-driven, not personal.

Married and Religious Co-Stars

Johnston explained that many collaborators are also religious, which exacerbates their emotional struggles after filming. “Most of the men I film with are married and their wives don't know,” she said. “I don't feel guilty about it because, if it wasn't me, they'd find someone else to make content with, sleep with or subscribe to. They're responsible for their own decisions.”

Emotional Attachment and Self-Destruction

According to Johnston, many men convince themselves the collaboration will become something more, leading to disappointment. “Some of them get emotionally attached, but what they're really attached to is that they think I want more with them,” she said. “Even though we've discussed the whole purpose of this beforehand, some of them think the relationship or the sex is going to continue. When that doesn't happen, it messes with them.” She added that their religious background adds to the internal conflict: “They have this impending sense of doom and they've been conditioned to think and feel a certain way.”

Business Decision Boosts Earnings

Johnston noted that working with multiple men was a business move after subscribers demanded variety. “It got to the point where fans were saying, 'When you've got videos with a different guy, I'll come back,'” she said. “Once I started creating content with lots of different men, my retention and earnings went up by a significant amount.”

Supportive Partner and Compartmentalization

Her long-term partner supports the arrangement, with the only boundary being that all encounters must be filmed. “My partner understands why I had to start filming with other men,” she said. “If we want to grow, and even maintain the business, then this is what needs to happen.” Johnston emphasizes her ability to compartmentalize: “To me, it's just acting. We do what we need to do, then it's over, and I don't think about it afterwards. I can switch it on and off like a light switch.”

Challenges in Finding Collaborators

Despite assumptions, finding willing collaborators is difficult. “You'd think there would be millions of applications, but guys are lazy,” Johnston laughed. “They have to get tested, create an [adult content] profile and go through the verification process. Finding someone who's willing to do all of that is harder than you'd expect.” She deliberately seeks ordinary men, stating, “I'll film with the average Joe because the guys watching my content are just average Joes. Honestly, I'm basically a MILF on the hunt for the dad bod.”
