Dozens of fans had gathered on Lázaro Cárdenas Boulevard to celebrate the win. Social media footage shows a black car surrounded by people, with individuals near its bonnet and windows. Reports indicate the driver accelerated, striking multiple people. At least 17 were injured, with some taken to hospitals and others treated at the scene. Arrest and Investigation
Another video shows the vehicle's front end severely damaged, with fans confronting the driver. A man is seen lying still on the ground with blood pouring from his head. Authorities arrested one person. Public Safety, Fire Department, and Civil Protection responded, closing the area for hours while emergency crews treated the injured and conducted an initial investigation.
Alberto Rentería Santana, General Secretary of Los Cabos, said: "Coordination between security authorities is ongoing, and investigations into the incident are under way. At this moment, our priority is to care for, support and stand by those who have been affected."
