Two women, aged 24 and 26, have died after going swimming in Loch Fyne in Argyll and Bute on Sunday afternoon.
Police response
Police Scotland received a report of concern for two female divers at about 3:30pm. The 26-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The body of the 24-year-old was recovered from the water after further searches.
Rescue operation
The Coastguard and lifeboat crews assisted in the operation. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The deaths are being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course."
