South Wales Police are searching for a 36-year-old man following an alleged assault in Barry on Monday evening. Jacob Swan has not been seen since the incident at Friars Road, which occurred around 11pm on Monday, July 6.
Police cordon in place
A cordon was in place near the Ger-y-Mor flats on Friars Road on Tuesday morning as officers carried out inquiries. The road was closed to traffic and pedestrians while forensic teams examined the scene.
Police have expressed concern for Swan's welfare, stating he may have been injured during the assault. He is believed to have links to Ely and Barry.
Appeal for information
South Wales Police have launched an appeal for information on Swan's whereabouts. A spokesperson said: "We are concerned for Jacob Swan and are urging anyone who may have seen him or has information to come forward."
