A four-year-old boy has died following a serious medical incident at the Center Parcs holiday resort in Longleat Forest, Wiltshire. Police were called to the scene at approximately 11:00 GMT on Christmas Eve, alongside the South Western Ambulance Service.
The incident is believed to have occurred in a swimming pool. Wiltshire Police have stated that the death is not being treated as suspicious, and their thoughts are with the child's family. No further details about the nature of the incident have been disclosed.

A holidaymaker staying at the resort for Christmas reported that a temporary barrier had been placed across the entrance to the pool. The resort made public announcements that the Subtropical Swimming Paradise water park would remain closed on Christmas Eve. The mother-of-five, from the Midlands, noted the quiet atmosphere and said an announcement regarding the pool was expected later in the day.
