Charles Michael Barrell, known as Mick, of Gatley, passed away peacefully at Plane Tree Court, Edgeley, on Wednesday, 12th August 2026, aged 77 years. A much-loved Dad of Victoria, Katie and Spike, and Uncle to Alison and Debbie, the service and committal will be at Altrincham Crematorium on Wednesday, 26th August at 12.45pm. Family flowers only; donations to The Christie Charity, Prostate Cancer UK or Muscular Dystrophy UK.
Paul Butcher, aged 75, passed away, leaving his much-loved Dad of Nick and Brad, Grandad to Khiah, and Brother to Elaine. The funeral service will take place at Rochdale Crematorium on Friday 11th September at 11:30am, with donations to the British Heart Foundation.

Lena Conneally, aged 88, passed away peacefully at home in Chorlton on 8th August 2026, formerly of Enniskillen, County Fermanagh. A Requiem Mass will be held at St Ann's RC Church, Stretford on Friday 21st August at 1.45pm prior to committal at Manchester Crematorium.
Norma Eccles, aged 93, of Heaton Moor, passed away on 6th August 2026. The service and committal will be at St. Paul's C of E Church, Heaton Moor on Tuesday 25th August 2026 at 11:30am, with donations to Alzheimer's Society or The Gurkha Welfare Trust.
Mary Ann Fitzgerald, aged 88, passed away peacefully in hospital on 7th August 2026. A Funeral Mass will take place at English Martyrs, Urmston on Friday 28th August at 11.00am, followed by interment at Urmston Cemetery.

John Brian Haigh, known as Brian, passed away peacefully at home on 12th August 2026, aged 91 years. A celebration of his life will take place at Rochdale Crematorium on Friday 21st August at 3.00pm, with donations to Springhill Hospice.
Anthony Michael Hodbod, known as Tony, died on August 1 at the age of 85. His funeral is to be held at St James' Church, Haslingden, at 11am on Wednesday, August 26.
Roy Howarth passed away suddenly after a short illness on 12th August 2026 aged 77. The funeral service will take place at East Lancashire Crematorium, Radcliffe on Wednesday 26th August at 10.30am, with donations to Bury Hospice.
