Police have cordoned off a residential street in Cheetham Hill, Manchester, following a serious incident on Monday evening (July 27). Officers have been on Spender Avenue since around 6pm, with the street and nearby Thackeray Close taped off as they conduct enquiries.
An air ambulance has landed on Bignor Street Park nearby. Photographs from the scene show the front of a property sealed off, with officers appearing to work inside.
