Kent Police are investigating after a one-year-old boy sustained life-threatening injuries in a fall from a window in Gillingham.
Incident Details
Police received a call from the South East Coast Ambulance Service at around 6:10pm on Sunday, July 27, reporting that paramedics were treating a child who had reportedly fallen from a window of a property on Cornwallis Avenue. The fall is understood to have been from a flat above a shop.
Response and Investigation
Officers attended the scene and the child was taken to a hospital in London with life-threatening injuries. A force spokeswoman said: “Officers attended and the child was taken to a London hospital with life-threatening injuries. Inquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
