Reality TV star Amy Childs has been left 'heartbroken' and 'shaken' after her £1.7million Essex mansion was reportedly ransacked by robbers while she was away on a family holiday.
The TOWIE star, 36, returned from a family getaway to find her home had been broken into and 'totally wrecked' by the thieves, according to reports.
Burglary confirmed
A representative for Amy confirmed the burglary, telling The Sun: "No one was hurt which is the main thing. The police are all over it."
A source told the outlet: "Amy and her family returned from holiday to find that thieves had broken into her home and completely trashed the place. She's absolutely heartbroken."
Grateful family was away
The source added: "She is just grateful that she and the kids were away when it happened, because it would have been terrifying if they had been there when the burglars came. She can't even bear to think about that but it's still left her shaken."
Amy is reportedly unsure what exactly has been taken as the place is 'totally wrecked', with police and forensics at the property.
Holiday snaps before the ordeal
Just days before the break-in, Amy had shared loved-up snaps of her kissing her husband, First Dates star Billy Delbosq, while on holiday. They share twins Milly and Billy.
Amy wrote: "Having the most Beautiful time with the Family… making memories that will last forever. Polly and Milly are totally inseparable, seeing this makes me so I wished I had a sister growing up got Wills instead (only joking) the bond is unbreakable."
Amy appeared in the first two series of TOWIE before landing her own spin-off show It's All About Amy. She went on Celebrity Big Brother in 2011 and returned to TOWIE in 2020.
