A92 near Cupar closed nine hours after three-vehicle crash

The A92 in Fife remains closed more than nine hours after a three-vehicle crash in the early hours of Sunday morning. Emergency services were called to the road between Luthrie and Moonzie near Cupar at around 1am.

Ongoing incident

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they are still at the scene with two appliances in attendance. A spokesperson said: “We received a call to a crash on the A92 in Fife at 12.50am. We despatched two appliances. The incident is ongoing.”

Diversions in place

The public has been asked to avoid the area. Local diversions are in place via the A913, and drivers are being urged to use an alternative route. Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
