CCTV footage shows a woman urinating outside a beachwear shop in Phuket, Thailand. The clip was posted on Phuket Times' Facebook page on Saturday, August 15.
Incident at Shop Entrance
In the video, the woman walks up to the entrance of the shop and pulls her underwear down. She then gets into a deep squat with her backside stuck out and begins urinating on the floor outside the establishment.
After finishing, she stumbles away from the mess, pulling her shorts up as she walks off. The woman, dressed in all white, then continues her night.
Worker Arrives Too Late
In the last second of the clip, another individual can be seen walking towards the entrance from inside the shop to check on the incident. However, the suspected store worker was not fast enough to scare off the woman, as the deed had already been done, and she had escaped under the cover of darkness.
The woman in the video has not been identified publicly. The outlet did not report whether the shop owner had reported the ordeal to the police.
Location and Context
The Phuket Times' Facebook page posted the clip and stated the ordeal happened in the Karon area. However, the publication did not specify the exact date and time of the incident.
This is not the first time a tourist in Thailand has landed in hot water due to a pee-related incident. The Daily Star previously reported a Brit was barred from Thailand after she ripped pages of her passport out to use as toilet paper on a wild night out.
Faye Wilson, 28, had to explain to Thai immigration officials that she had used “two or three” pages of her passport to wipe herself on a drunken night out. The hairdresser, from the Lake District, said she felt “like a criminal” after she was quickly turned around at the airport in Thailand and flown back to Glasgow.
She had planned on spending a month in the Asian country before working for a year in Australia. Faye said: "Thai immigration just opened my passport and started looking through it, and asked 'what's happened here'? I just said that I had lost the pages because I was too embarrassed to explain the real reason. Before I could explain more, they had deported me back to Dubai and then to Glasgow and confiscated my documents."
Faye had her passport taken off her and was escorted back to the UK with a security guard.
